This is an excellent clutch, I have one on a kit at the unit so you can test it out. It's hard to describe why it's good it's like you can get a tight grip but while still getting the swing of the cymbal but it's controlled.

If you just want a sloppy cymbal fit soft felts if you want more control or more movement than rubber felts then this would be a good choice.
